I am Shamicka C. Toney, a corporate professional, two-time International Impact Book Award-winning author, and motivational speaker. I believe in the unstoppable power of asking, "What if?" My mission is to inspire everyone—young and old, individuals and groups, startups and corporations—to tap into that inner drive and eliminate the "what if" woes.

My writing journey began in 2000 with a simple poem, which lead to more poems, then short stories, and eventually, faith-based romance novels. My books, with their relatable issues and engaging plots, have captivated readers worldwide. My first novel, Discovering the Covering, has even been adapted into a screenplay.

Because I believe encouraged children are capable of anything, I've created an adventure series featuring Jamison the Fly, a little guy with big dreams who proves that anyone can be a hero.

What if I had never had the courage to release that first book? The short answer? Absolutely nothing! I wouldn't have this amazing journey that has taken this "little idea" to the biggest stages, national airwaves, and international bookshelves.
